Grand Hyatt La Manga Club Golf & Spa in Murcia, Spain, has been named a finalist in the 2026 Condé Nast Traveler Awards.
The Spanish luxury resort was selected in the Health, Sports and Wellbeing category, recognizing more than 50 years of operation along the Costa Cálida coastline between the Mediterranean Sea and Calblanque Regional Park.
Condé Nast Traveler runs annual industry awards celebrating top destinations, hotels, and wellness retreats worldwide. Organizers highlighted the resort's ability to combine physical activity, relaxation, natural surroundings, and dining for modern travelers.
A recent renovation at the resort introduced updated guest rooms and suites focused on contemporary design, natural light, privacy, and guest wellbeing.

Golf courses and wellness spa
Sports facilities at the complex include three 18-hole golf courses, which are ranked among the most prominent courses in Europe.
Guests seeking relaxation can access Alma' Spa, a wellness center inspired by ancient Andalusian hammams. The tradition of Andalusian bathhouses dates back centuries in southern Spain, blending steam baths, pools, and therapeutic treatments.
The property also features multiple swimming pools, a private cove facing the sea, and extensive protected natural spaces.
International dining and haute cuisine nights
Dining has become a central focus for the resort following its recent overhaul. The property hosts multiple international restaurants, including Amapola, La Cala, Hatsune Japanese Bar, Don Luigi Trattoria, and Asia.

This season, the resort launched Noches de Alta Cocina, translated as High Cuisine Nights. The exclusive program features collaborative four-hands dinners where prominent Spanish guest chefs create one-night-only menus.
Chefs María Gómez and Borja Aldea have already hosted dinners in the series. Upcoming events will feature menus created by chefs Iván Cerdeño, Miguel Hernández, and Juan Guillamón.
Stargazing and gastronomic astrotourism
The resort has also introduced a summer gastronomic astrotourism experience organized in partnership with Astroiberia, a Spanish astronomy organization.
The evening events combine stargazing sessions, guided wine tastings, food pairings, and signature dishes. Activities take place under the night sky in Murcia, known for having some of the clearest skies in southeastern Spain.
The resort opened more than 50 years ago and continues to update its amenities and culinary scheduling for summer visitors.
