Kourtney Kardashian has shut down rumors that she and her husband Travis Barker are living apart and splitting up, dismissing the claims as "fabricated stories" on Hulu's The Kardashians.

The 47-year-old reality television personality addressed the speculation during the latest episode of the streaming series after her publicist reached out to ask whether there was any "truth" to the gossip.

Kardashian recounted the conversation while taking a drive with her 23-year-old stepson, Landon Barker, and her longtime friend Simon Huck, 43. She explained that a magazine had contacted her representative with claims that the couple had moved into separate homes.

'She is like, "The magazine is saying that you and Travis don't live together anymore and you are splitting up,"' Kardashian told Landon and Huck during the car ride.

Rather than attempting to stop the story from running, Kardashian challenged the publication to go ahead with it. 'I go, "Tell them to print it." Just see what happens. They know it is not true,' she said.

TikTok split rumors and mansion renovations

Kardashian blamed the split rumors on what she called a "dumb" video circulating on the social media platform TikTok. "And people believe it!" she said, adding, "It's so bizarre."

Huck, a public relations executive and close confidant of the Kardashian family who has frequently appeared on their television programs, listened as Kardashian pushed back against the online speculation. New episodes of The Kardashians are released on Thursdays on Hulu, where the series has chronicled the family's personal lives and business ventures since launching as the successor to their long-running cable reality franchise.

Far from living in separate homes, the episode showed Kardashian finalizing home renovations at the mansion she shares with Barker, 50. With the remodeling work coming together, she said she is looking forward to spending the upcoming holiday season in the shared house.

"I can't wait to cook, have movie nights, barbecues. I want to make it feel magical for everyone," Kardashian said as she prepared the residence for the holidays.

Beyond the renovation updates, the episode showed Kardashian spending time with her 20-year-old stepdaughter, Alabama Barker, who was filmed doing the reality star's makeup.

Kardashian and the Blink-182 drummer have been married since the spring of 2022 and are parents to three-year-old son Rocky, whom they welcomed two years after their wedding. Together, the couple preside over a large blended family that includes children from both of their previous long-term relationships.

Kardashian shares three older children with her former partner, television personality Scott Disick, 43: son Mason Disick, 16, daughter Penelope Disick, 14, and son Reign Disick, 11. Kardashian and Disick spent years together on her family's reality shows before separating and continuing to co-parent their three children.

Barker shares son Landon and daughter Alabama with his ex-wife, actress and former pageant titleholder Shanna Moakler, 51, alongside his 27-year-old stepdaughter, Atiana de la Hoya. Barker raised Atiana during his marriage to Moakler and has remained a central figure in her life alongside his two biological children with his former wife.

Scarface Halloween photoshoot on Instagram

The latest episode aired shortly after Kardashian and Barker marked Halloween with a pair of coordinated couple's costumes. After recently dressing up together as vampires, the husband and wife transformed into Tony Montana and Elvira Hancock, the central couple from the 1983 crime drama film Scarface.

In the classic gangster movie, Al Pacino plays Tony Montana, a ruthless criminal boss who rises to power in the underworld and marries the glamorous Elvira Hancock. To recreate the characters' signature look, Kardashian and Barker wore costume wigs and posed beside a vintage convertible car for a themed photoshoot that Kardashian shared on Instagram.

In the caption accompanying the Instagram snapshots, Kardashian quoted a well-known line spoken by Pacino's character Tony in the 1983 film, writing: "The eyes, Chico. They never lie."

Travis Barker's cubital tunnel nerve surgery

Their Halloween celebrations followed a medical procedure Barker underwent at the beginning of last month to repair a nerve in his arm. As the longtime drummer for the pop-punk band Blink-182, Barker is known for an energetic, hard-hitting playing style that places heavy physical demands on his arms, wrists, and hands during live performances.

In early October, Barker shared a health update on social media while posing with Kardashian from his hospital bed after undergoing surgery for a "numb" arm. He told followers that the operation to fix the nerve had gone ahead and that he was already on the mend.

"I had surgery yesterday," Barker wrote at the time. "My arm, hand and fingers have been numb since a show I played last month."

Barker explained that he "did a nerve test Monday after my show and turns out I needed a cubital tunnel release to fix the nerve." A cubital tunnel release relieves compression on the ulnar nerve at the elbow to restore normal sensation and strength in the forearm, hand, and fingers.

He added that he "wanted to get ahead of it and get it over with so that I can keep playing the way I play for a long long time. Should be good in a few weeks."

Barker included a selfie that Kardashian took while cozying up beside him in the hospital with a small smile on her face, joking at the end of his post, "Not sure why my wife looks happy about this."

One day earlier, Kardashian had supported the Blink-182 musician at the hospital before the procedure began, planting a passionate kiss on her husband in a photograph Barker captioned: "My beautiful wife by my side."
