The 21-year-old son of British blogger Igho Ubiribo has spoken out to defend his father following the online personality's death in Bangkok after a cosmetic procedure.
Ubiribo, a 43-year-old businessman who was known on social media under the username Ego2222, passed away in Thailand in March 2026. Official findings from the Ministry of Public Health in Thailand determined that his death was caused by a pulmonary embolism following an injection of hyaluronic acid intended to increase penile circumference.
According to health officials in Thailand, Ubiribo had been attending the same clinic in Bangkok since 2024 and had undergone five filler procedures over that period. During his final session, medical staff administered 40 cubic centimetres of hyaluronic acid filler at once, despite a doctor recommending that the injection be divided into two separate treatments.
Hyaluronic acid is a gel-like substance commonly used in cosmetic medicine as a dermal filler to add volume to soft tissue. While dermal fillers are frequently used for facial and body augmentation, accidental injection into blood vessels can cause severe vascular blockage. In rare cases, foreign material or resulting blood clots can travel through the circulatory system to the lungs, triggering a pulmonary embolism, which blocks blood flow and can prove rapidly fatal.
Family Questions Official Account
Junior Ubiribo, one of the late blogger's eight children, stated that the family does not believe the official explanation surrounding his father's death. The 21-year-old pointed to unexpected marks observed on his father's body at the mortuary, including a sunken eye and a distinct line across his forehead, which he said were not present previously.
Junior also addressed online speculation regarding his father's physical condition, rejecting claims that Ubiribo suffered from a microphallus or micropenis. He explained that his father had received the nickname Tiny due to the size of his ears rather than his anatomy. Junior added that Ubiribo had maintained numerous female partners, asserting that the cosmetic treatments were not prompted by any anatomical defect.
Dispute Over Estate and Marriage
Beyond the circumstances of his father's death, Junior raised concerns regarding Ubiribo's estate and widow, Danielle Simba Allen. He reported that Allen had stopped communicating with family members and blocked them from contacting her. Junior stated that despite Ubiribo owning real estate holdings and businesses around the world, the family had not received any portion of his inheritance.
Junior questioned where his father's money had gone, noting that Allen refused to answer questions from the family. He also expressed doubts regarding the legal validity of the couple's marriage. A 2021 wedding ceremony conducted in Las Vegas was annulled one year later, and Junior maintained that a subsequent wedding ceremony held in Zimbabwe in 2022 possessed no legal force.
