Former teacher Holly Adams, 41, has been arrested in Texas following allegations that she engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a schoolboy.
Fox News reported that the arrest of the 41-year-old former educator took place on Tuesday, August 25, after school administrators were alerted to the alleged misconduct.
A classmate of the victim notified school officials after seeing evidence of the relationship. According to the teenager, his friend initiated a video call with him from inside Adams's bedroom, where several nude photographs of the woman were lying on the bed.
Among the items visible during the call was a photograph depicting the student hugging Adams, prompting the classmate to report the situation.
Allegations and police investigation
Investigators discovered that Adams had allegedly invited students to her house under the pretext of having them help with household chores. Adams also admitted to authorities that she had communicated with three members of the school's baseball team using messaging applications.
Following her arrest, Adams was charged only with providing alcohol to a minor and tampering with evidence. She was subsequently released on bail while the investigation remains ongoing.

The arrest in Texas follows previous international reports regarding misconduct by educational staff. In Great Britain, a former female teacher was previously sentenced to four and a half years in prison after being convicted of seducing a 15-year-old pupil.
In that British case, the former teacher had promised the teenager free preparation for his exams before sexually assaulting him.
