Primark has released an ‘ingenious’ range of menopause clothing that uses cooling technology to combat hot sweats, including chafing shorts.
The new collection includes sleepwear, underwear and base layers designed to help with menopause-related symptoms.
The clothes are made entirely from recycled nylon and recycled polyester, with cooling yarn, odor and temperature control that Primark calls ‘anti-wash technology’.

Prices start at £7 for scrub shorts, mini briefs and high waisted knickers and rise to £12 for bralettes and camis.
The collection consists of 14 pieces, including nightwear, shoppers can purchase matching pajamas and dressing gowns.
The lightweight products contain cooling materials, odor and temperature control, antibacterial finishes and quick-drying materials to keep the wearer as comfortable as possible.
On their website, Primark says: “Say goodbye to tight, bulky and stuffy nightwear and say a warm hello to airy, stretchy and super breathable menopausal nightwear and underwear!”

Ann-Marie Cregan, Trading Director at Primark, said: “We recognize the many different challenges that menopause can bring for women.
“As part of our overall drive to support women at all stages of life and break down everyday taboos, we realized that specialty products are not accessible or affordable for everyone and we wanted to change that.
People reached out to TikTok to showcase the new range in stores and many called it “brilliant”.
‘This range has been developed and tested for two years to ensure that we have developed innovative and new products specifically designed to alleviate one of the most common symptoms of menopause, hot flashes.’
Menopause occurs when menstruation stops due to lower hormone levels, which usually occurs between the ages of 45 and 55.
People have reached out to TikTok to try out the new series, with many calling it “awesome.”
Liverpool’s Chris Fairley reached out to @chris_fairley on his account to spread the word about the clothing range to his followers.
The clip, which has garnered more than 102,000 views, shows the high-waisted bottoms and cami tops.
One person wrote: “Yasss. This is genius. I need this. Not menopause but leaking!”
Another said: “I have to go to Primark.” While another wrote: “Oh my god I even need this and not menopause where is my card and keys.”
