‘We don’t know’ what will come of Covid vaccines and how many injections may be needed, says Fauci

America is moving towards something that could be the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, but the virus – and perhaps the regular hits for it – could be a long time in the future.

However, how long it will take cannot be determined, and even some of the world’s best healthcare professionals are unable to provide solid answers to how many injections people need and for how long.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the country’s leading infectious disease expert, said: In an interview published Monday, CNBC said he wasn’t sure what the future was for Covid vaccines, but was confident that more would be needed in the future.

On Sunday, Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla told CBS Take on the Nation that a fourth Covid coup will be necessary for Americans to contain the virus in the future, and it’s a prospect that will bring huge financial benefits to his company.

“Answer: We don’t know. I mean, that’s it… When it comes to vaccines, we’re probably not done with that,” Fauci said when asked how many more injections are needed.

It has been exactly two years since the World Health Organization (WHO) declared COVID-19 a global epidemic on March 11, 2020.

While nearly all countries have been affected by a virus, the total of 79,517,492 and 967,552 cases experienced in the United States is the largest of any country in the world.

Since Omicron’s winter peak peaked in mid-January, cases in America have declined rapidly.

Many states have closed or limited daily reports of Covid cases, making it difficult for existing virus trackers to continue.

Last week, the BNO Newsroom announced that it would close its audience on Saturday. Johns Hopkins University also failed to update the numbers on Monday morning, reflecting a decreased focus on daily case numbers.

Duties are also being lifted across the country, and none of the 50 states have mask orders after next week.

In California, Governor Gavin Newsom said last month that his state would soon begin to treat Covid as endemic rather than a pandemic.

While Fauci, who is director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, has been generally more cautious in his approach to the virus in the past two years, he too has started looking at post-pandemic America.

“Everybody wants to go back to normal, everybody wants to leave the virus behind us in the rear view mirror, and I think that’s what we’re aiming for,” Fauci said.

A return to “normal” may require Americans to receive regular injections of Covid-19 to control the virus, similar to the annual flu shot recommended for everyone.

Currently, the vast majority of US adults are being advised by authorities to receive two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine series, followed by a booster dose five months later.

A fourth dose is recommended to increase protection against the virus in immunocompromised patients.

Fauci is one of those joining the CEOs of Moderna and Pfizer, two major vaccine manufacturers that have a lot to gain from vaccine popularization, saying that a fourth dose will likely be needed soon.

Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla appeared on CBS this week and said a fourth dose may be needed “now” for Americans.

“At this point, as we’ve seen, a fourth booster is now needed,” said Bourla.

“The protection you get from third parties is good enough, actually good enough for hospitalizations and deaths… not so good against infections, but it won’t last long.”

Bourla also told CNBC: squeak box Last week, his company reported an upcoming fourth dose filing with the Food and Drug Administration.

Moderna CEO Stephane Bancel has hinted that a fourth dose will be needed in the future.
