MailOnline may reveal that sex reassignment pills are being sold on eBay that are said to enlarge users’ breasts.
The online marketplace offers dozens of deals on “feminization” and “male pass” tablets that can be purchased for as little as 60 cents per pill.
They are marketed with the help of voluptuous women or muscular men, with vendors of the most popular items in London, Bristol and Newcastle.
Many of the articles seen by MailOnline contained health issues that doctors said were doomed to prey on helpless patients with gender dysphoria.
One person targeting trans women said that just one pill a day can help them “breast boobs”, develop a “sassy, feminine butt” and make their voices “longer and more feminine.”
Another, marketed to trans men, claimed it could “grow facial hair,” “increase strength and muscle mass,” and “shrink breasts.”
Although there is no evidence that any of the listed ingredients have the desired effect, some products have been purchased hundreds of times.
Doctors told MailOnline that at best they are snake oil supplements that do nothing, but at worst they may contain body-destroying hormones.
‘breast enlargement pills’ listing on eBay shows 30 tablets selling for £19.99

Its dealer, Enfield, London-based Mr. Masculine Transition Pills claims it can “grow facial hair”, “increase strength and muscle mass” and “shrink breasts”.

In addition, “Transform Hormone Feminizer Pills” were also available in the market, purchased 380 times.
An eBay spokesperson acknowledged that the listings violated their terms of service and removed several items reported by MailOnline.
But as of this writing, there were still dozens of similar products available in the online marketplace.
Among those still alive was Mr. Masculine Pass Pills, whose dealer was in Enfield, London.
Boxes of 30 pills were on the list for £19.99, which came out to about 60 cents per pill.
In addition, “Transform Hormone Feminizer Pills”, which were purchased 380 times, were also available in the market.
The Newcastle-based seller charged £23.99 for the 30-day box of pills, and the ‘make offer’ option means they can sell it for less.
The cheapest item on the market was an offer for Feminizer Sex Change Pills, which can be purchased in bulk for £17.66.
In the statement, the listing boasts that the pills are “used by Thai ladyboys” and are “the best you can buy.”
Despite many listing claims that the pills increase estrogen or testosterone, alter hormones during actual sex reassignment therapy, most of the supplements were fillers or natural herbs that have been shown to have virtually no effect on hormone levels.

Some articles have allegedly included fenugreek extract and other herbs linked to marginal hormonal changes.
But other lists only had “fillers” that had no effect, such as starch and brown rice flour.
Dr Zakariya Waqar-Uddin, a Manchester-based NHS primary care doctor, told MailOnline: “These vendors are on the mend of desperation.
“They have wall-to-wall patients who find themselves in a situation where they feel like they’re the wrong gender, they’re so angry.
“People who are on long waiting lists or are too embarrassed to go to the doctor may be tempted by this black market.”
WHAT IS GENDER Dysphoria?
Gender dysphoria is a term that describes the discomfort a person may experience due to the mismatch between their biological sex and gender identity.
This feeling of discomfort or dissatisfaction can be so intense that it leads to depression and anxiety and has a detrimental effect on daily life.
The exact cause is unclear.
The development of the genre is complex, and there are things that are still unknown or not fully understood.
Gender dysphoria is not related to sexual orientation. People with gender dysphoria may describe themselves as heterosexual, gay, lesbian, or bisexual.

therapy
Patients with gender dysphoria receive therapy and counseling after being referred to a private clinic by a general practitioner.
Adult patients may then be offered hormone treatments – usually testosterone for those who want to be men, or estrogen for those who want to be more feminine.
In general, those who want to become masculine usually take testosterone, and after feminization people usually take estrogen.
People over the age of 18 may then be referred for surgery.

An eBay spokesperson said: “These items have been banned and removed from the eBay platform.
“We use block filtering algorithms to prevent such products from being listed and work closely with regulatory authorities such as the Office of Product Safety and Standards and the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Products Regulatory Authority who can report and remove directly related listings.” Our Editorial Portal.”
After several counseling or psychological support courses, patients may be given cross-hormone therapy.
In general, those who want to become masculine usually take testosterone, and after feminization people usually take estrogen.
Among other things, testosterone promotes the growth of facial hair and muscle tissue, while also deepening the voice.
Estrogen stimulates the formation of breast tissue, shrinks the testicles and prevents erections.
Both often have the side effect of suppressing the release of “unwanted” hormones from the testicles or ovaries.
Some teens with persistent signs of gender dysphoria who meet strict criteria may be prescribed hormone blockers when they reach puberty.
Puberty blockers (gonadotropin-releasing hormone analogues) pause the physical changes of puberty, such as breast development or a beard.
Little is known about the long-term side effects of hormones or puberty blockers in children with gender dysphoria.
It is not known what the psychological effects might be and whether hormone blockers will affect adolescent brain development or bone development in children.
Teens who have been taking hormone blockers for at least 12 months can be given sex hormones, also known as sex-affirming hormones, from age 16.
Patients over the age of 18 can have sex reassignment surgery.
The government estimates that there are 500,000 people currently in transit in the UK.
The growing demand and wider acceptance of gender dysphoria has resulted in increased demand for specialized services.
The number of people waiting to start treatment in the UK is currently 11,000, with some waiting for up to five years.
