Michelin-starred chef Tom Kerridge creates an affordable recipe for SUPER TOODLES

Three Michelin-starred chef Tom Kerridge has been called a “bloody champ” for creating an inexpensive recipe using Super Noodles to help people overcome a life crisis.

According to the 48-year-old TV chef, owner of two Marlow gastropubs, the meal can be prepared in just four minutes.

A video of Tom preparing the meal, shared on social media, shows him pairing Chow Mein-flavored instant noodles with half a cabbage, a carrot, two spring onions, a cube of vegetables, frozen peas, and soy sauce.

A pack of Super Noodles only costs 70 cents and all the ingredients cost less than £1.50.

Kerridge, whose Hand of Flowers pub has two Michelin stars and The Coach boozer one, used only a kettle, saucepan, cup, peeler and grater.

He described the recipe, which was far from the fine dining he had made at his gastropubs in both Marlow and Bucks.

The chef said, “We’re making use of Super Noodles.

“Make sure you get boiling water from the kettle”

‘You need two glasses of water in a pan, put it at maximum power.

The video showed Marcus Rashford with a cup of food being prepared as part of the Full Time Meal campaign with the football player.

The ingredients for the inexpensive dish are half a cabbage, carrots, scallions, and nuts, along with the famous noodles.

During the video (pictured), the chef demonstrated how to put together a basic dish using minimal equipment, including a kettle, pan, and peeler.

‘The water boils, put the Super Noodles, I went some Joe Wicks.

“Chop the cabbage and throw it in.”

The meal is part of Kerridge’s full-time meal campaign with England and Man Utd striker Marcus Rashford.

It aims to promote fast, affordable and healthy eating for schoolchildren and their families affected by rising food prices during the crisis.
