Doctors in Florida are now being ordered to warn recipients of the Covid vaccine that the injection can have adverse effects, including heart attacks.
A message sent to state doctors on Wednesday warned that reports of side effects after vaccination in Florida increased by 1,700 percent between 2020 and 2021 – the first year the vaccine was available.
Among them was a large increase in vaccine-related life-threatening conditions, including heart attacks and other cardiovascular problems. And this despite the fact that only 400 percent of the vaccines in Florida were administered this year. This suggests that the increase in injections given is not the only reason for this increase.
However, the system cited by Florida officials uses self-reported information and requires no verification. Some reports may not be true, others may be caused by Covid itself – which is known to cause prolonged cardiac symptoms in some patients.
Although the Covid vaccines have serious side effects, they are so rare that health officials have decided that the benefits outweigh the risks.

Some have praised Florida officials for approaching their Covid response differently, reducing virus-related restrictions and instead allowing more personal choice and responsibility.
“The COVID-19 pandemic has presented many challenges that the healthcare and medical industry have never faced before,” state officials said in a statement.
“While the initial response was guided by a sense of urgency and crisis management, the state’s surgeon general believes it is critical that public health professionals adapt responses to the present to envision a data-driven future.”
The press release refers to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), a system operated by the US Department of Health and Human Services to record vaccine-related injuries.
In 2021, 41,473 vaccine-related injuries were reported in Florida, a large increase from the 2,466 the year before.
VAERS data is self-reported and cases submitted to the system do not require a physician review.
Still, regulators can be alerted to potential negative trends associated with available vaccines.
Florida Health also cites a US study published in September that found one in 550 Covid vaccine recipients experienced an adverse reaction.
“This is much higher than other vaccines,” the press release said.
The study focused on clinical trials being conducted for the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, which were initially slated to receive Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval in late 2020.

In all the trials collected for the study — which included tens of thousands of patients — 52 recipients of the Pfizer vaccine and 87 who received the Moderna shot had a significant side effect.
This compares with 33 and 64 respectively in people who did not receive the vaccine, indicating that the risk involved is still relatively low.
These data were considered by the FDA and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) before emergency use authorization—and eventually full approval—was granted for the injections in recent years.
Florida Health also cites a 2022 study by Israeli researchers that found a 25 percent increase in heart disease in the Middle Eastern country in the months after the introduction of the injection.
The researchers note that it is unclear whether any of these events are related to the vaccine.
“Although no causal relationship can be established, the results raise concerns about vaccine-induced, undetected major cardiovascular adverse events and underscore the previously established causal relationship between vaccines and myocarditis, a common cause of sudden cardiac arrest in young people,” the researchers wrote. .
A Norwegian study cited by the Florida Department of Health found that the AstraZeneca vaccine was linked to blood clotting in the brain and low platelet counts – both life-threatening.
However, the vaccine is not available in America and may not be responsible for the surge in VAERS reports in 2021.
However, withdrawals do not come without some relatively minor risks.
In early 2021, the CDC warned that young men who received the mRNA vaccines — either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine — were at increased risk for heart inflammation.
The agency warned that myocarditis is more common in men aged 16 and older within seven days of receiving the vaccine.
Despite the warning, officials continued to recommend the vaccine in this age group as well.

Earlier this year, the FDA and CDC also issued a warning linking Pfizer’s bivalent injection to ischemic stroke three to four weeks after vaccination.
The potential link between the Pfizer vaccine and increased risk of stroke was recognized by the CDC’s Vaccine Safety Datalink (VSD), a real-time monitoring system.
Two weeks later, it was determined that the risk was minimal, but getting the bivalent vaccine on the same dates as a flu shot could pose a problem.
World health authorities have broadly endorsed the Covid vaccines.
Despite the risks involved, they found that the benefits of the injections outweighed the risks.
Officials in Florida have stood out among other US leaders for their continued criticism of the Covid vaccines.
In December, Gov. Ron DeSantis requested a major warrant to investigate “misconduct” related to the shooting.
“We’re going to be able to get the data whether they want to give it or not,” DeSantis said.
“In Florida, it is illegal to deceive and misrepresent, especially when it comes to a drug’s effectiveness.”
He continued: “Today I am announcing a petition to the Florida Supreme Court to convene a statewide grand jury to investigate all abuses in Florida related to Covid vaccines.”
Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo was also present. He was criticized last year after he recommended giving teenagers the injections despite FDA approval.
“The data coming in on this shows that healthy children have very little benefit in terms of how the vaccine works, and that’s weighed against the fact that they’re at very, very little risk,” he said.
“Individuals can make their own decision … but I think the data is consistent with the Surgeon General’s recommendations.”
