Jessie Cave, who played Lavender Brown in the final three Harry Potter films, said she earned more from OnlyFans in a single year than during her whole acting career. She made the comments in an interview with The Times.
Cave said that in one year she earned more than in her entire acting career.
How the OnlyFans account started
Cave opened her OnlyFans account last year. She had expected to keep it for only a few months to help support her family before deciding what to do next, but she found herself drawn in. She said that on one day alone she earned £15,000, more than $20,000.
Cave said she charges subscribers $6 a month but earns more from paid messages on the platform, and that over the past year the money has supported her and her family. She said a lack of acting auditions and financial means had left her close to a nervous breakdown, which pushed her toward earning money on OnlyFans.
Family and other work
Cave has four children with actor Alfie Brown. She said she could not take a job such as working in a supermarket because she did not want customers shouting Harry Potter spells at her while she worked.
