Guy Ritchie's The Gentlemen Renewed for Season 3

Netflix has released the first full trailer for the second season of "The Gentlemen," the crime series created by director and producer Guy Ritchie. The new episodes are set to premiere on September 3, 2026.

The trailer's official description says ambitions cannot be tamed, and that when a character named Bobby stands in the way of the criminal empire's expansion, Eddie and Susie must choose whether to submit or make their move.

Season 2 storyline

According to Variety, the second season follows Eddie Horniman, played by Theo James, an English aristocrat drawn into the criminal underworld, and Susie Glass, played by Kaya Scodelario, an influential figure in organized crime, as they push their operation beyond Britain's borders and into Italy. Eddie will also work to secure his standing both in the criminal world and among the British aristocracy, a path that leads him into a dangerous clash with powerful criminal figures.

Returning cast members include Ray Winstone, Harry Goodwins, Joely Richardson, Daniel Ings, Jasmine Blackborow and Vinnie Jones. New additions to the season include Giancarlo Esposito, Michael Vu, Ruby Cyr and Piers Quigley.

Other newcomers to the cast are Benjamin Clementine, Benedetta Porcaroli, Amra Mallassi and Tyler Conti, alongside professional boxer Chris Eubank Jr. and "Love Island" host Maya Jama. The new season will run for eight episodes.

Season 3 already in the works

Variety also reports that the series has officially been renewed for a third season, which is currently in pre-production. The scripts are not yet finished and the cast has not been confirmed, despite earlier rumors that Meghan Markle would join the show. Filming is expected to begin soon.

Ritchie said the ambitions of "The Gentlemen" had grown, the show's world had expanded and the consequences had become more serious, adding that a third season had felt inevitable and that he was looking forward to pushing its boundaries even further. He will return to direct the third season and will co-write the script with Matthew Read.

About the series
