Netflix has released a really cool and interesting teaser trailer for the upcoming sci-fi action movie JUNG_Eby the director of Train to Busan, Yeon San-ho. The teaser introduces us to the creation of the main character who is an advanced AI combat warrior.
The story is set in a post-apocalyptic 22nd century and follows “a female researcher in an artificial intelligence laboratory who” leads the effort to end a civil war by cloning the brain of a heroic soldier, her mother.
Looks like a brilliant looking film! I like the visual style of the film, and while it looks well-designed, the teaser also invokes a feeling of darkness and dread as the human-like AI creation is built. I’m definitely intrigued by what I see in the teaser and can’t wait to watch the movie!
The film will arrive on Netflix on January 20, 2023.
