The underwater thriller novel The deep is getting a series adaptation at Amazon Studios. C. Henry Chaisson (Horn, Servant) will produce the series and adapt the screenplay, based on the 2015 novel by Nick Cutter. Lost and Five days at the memorial executive producer Carlton Cuse is executive producer together Bosch executive producers Henrik Bastin and Melissa Aouate.
Set in the near future, The deep centers on a research station on the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, where a miraculous discovery signals new hope for humanity, but secrets unearthed on the ocean floor could have devastating consequences for the world above.
