Last August, Netflix renewed ‘The Umbrella Academy’ for a fourth and final season, but the drama isn’t just that the end is coming, it’s that it will arrive sooner than expected. Steve Blackman, showrunner of the series, confirmed on Twitter that instead of 10, we will only have 6 new episodes, but he promised it will be worth it:
It is true. But you will love them. https://t.co/jV9ysCcPK0

“- True, but you will love them.
– There’s no way ‘The Umbrella Academy’ season 4 has only 6 episodes. Stop lying, that’s not true, stop it.”
The series based on the comic by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá does not have a return date on Netflix, but we know that the first of the six chapters that remain to be seen will be titled “The Unbearable Tragedy of Getting What You Want” (“The Unbearable Tragedy of Getting What You Want”) and that production should wrap next May.

What awaits us
Although the first two seasons of ‘The Umbrella Academy’ follow the storylines of ‘Apocalypse Suite’ and ‘Dallas’ from the comics, the third season deviated from ‘Hotel Oblivion’ and stayed on top, with the Hargreeves in an alternate, powerless universe, with Sloane missing and Allison with Claire and Ray. She also allowed us to meet Reginald’s wife, Abigail.
In the six new chapters, the Hargreeves brothers will return in full force for this latest Apocalypse and Elliot Page, Robert Sheehan, Emmy Raver-Lampman, David Castañeda, Aidan Gallagher, Justin H. Min and Tom Hopper are confirmed. Furthermore, they also return to Ritu Arya and Colm Feore. You have the first three seasons of ‘The Umbrella Academy available on Netflix’.
