Enter the Gizmoplex on December 16 for a special Mystery Science Theater 3000 holiday film that requires the experience of three hosts. Original host Joel Hodgson will be joined by Jonah RayAnd Emilia Marsh as well as two sets of robots. The satellite of love is getting into the holiday spirit with the film The Christmas Dragon, a film about a group of precocious orphans who try to save Santa Claus. But the orphans aren’t the only ones trying to carry out their plans. Our guest heroes have devised an escape plan to escape the clutches of Kinga Forrester forever. Can they be successful?
This should be everything MST3K fans could want in a holiday special. I’m excited to see all presenters play together. The movie itself really sounds like… it was made. I’m including the poster and trailer for the movie below because it’s not at all what I expected from the description. I’ll be honest and say the special effects are of a better quality than I’m used to seeing from MST3K movies. But it seems that this was a presentation for a How to train your dragon holiday special that was declined. I don’t even say this in a disparaging way, I love watching movies like this and I’m always happy to find new gems like this.
