After quite busy days for Henry Cavill’s schedule, the actor who would be left without two of the most important roles of his career, such as Geralt de Rivia in ‘The Witcher’ and Superman in DC Comics, now has a new job. It is a series of video games, which will be exclusive within the Amazon Prime Video platform.
According to information from The Hollywood Reporter, Henry Cavill will be the protagonist ‘Warhammer 40,000’ for Amazon Prime Video. This is a strategy game that Cavill has been a longtime fan of, spending much of his day painting the miniature figures that are part of the experience. Additionally, he will also serve as executive producer.
Amazon Prime Video had been fighting for the rights to the video game for several months, and when Henry Cavill is out of work because of Superman YouThe sorcerer’, was when the platform managed to get to the final conversations. The announcement coincides with a phase in which the actor has been going through a difficult period in his career in recent months, and it will hopefully put him back on track.
Currently, ‘Warhammer 40,000’ it has no screenwriters, but it has already entered the development phase and speaks of a future in which humans are at war with aliens and magical beings, and for this they rely on gigantic robotic armor to deal with them. Cavill is the only one linked to the project for now, but more official news is expected in the coming months.

Amazon Prime Video adds another series of video games
With “Warhammer 40,000”, Amazon Prime Video adds another series of video games to its catalog, after the adaptation of 2018’s “God of War” was recently confirmed. With these titles, the platform wants to expand its bets in the field of adaptations, giving competition to Netflix with “The Witcher” and Paramount with the series “Halo”.
On the other hand, Cavill will build a career away from two of the characters that made him famous, and even when he has no more commitments, he will not be able to return to ‘The Witcher’. He recently sparked rumors that he could be part of James Cameron’s “Avatar” franchise for the fourth film, according to Giant Freakin Robot.
But, while it appears Cavill’s future is empty, it should be remembered that he has five projects in production which he is a part of, ‘Argylle’ with Dualipa, Don Tillman’s ‘The Rosie Project’, ‘The Ministry of Ungentlemany Warfare’ alongside Eiza Gonzalez, ‘Squadron 42’, and finally it is rumored that he could appear in ‘Highlander’ by Chad Stahelski, director of ‘John Wick 4’.
