If These Walls Could Sing was slated for a worldwide release on the streaming platform on December 16, but has been pushed back to January 6 for viewers in the UK and Ireland.
It follows the success of The Beatles: Get Back, a Disney+ documentary directed by multiple Academy Award winner Peter Jackson.
The film took fans inside the British band’s January 1969 recording sessions, which “became a defining moment in music history”.

The Beatles: Get Back won five Creative Arts Emmys at the 2022 ceremony, including Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series.
At the time, Peter Jackson defended the incredible runtime of his Beatles documentaries after receiving mixed reactions from fans.
The director compiled over 60 hours of footage from Michael Lindsay-Hogg’s 1970 film Let It Be, documenting the band’s painstaking recording for their final album.
The end result is three 468-minute episodes – between two and three hours for each episode – which some fans insist is too long.

The staggering length of Jackson’s latest project has divided viewers of the Disney+ series, with one commenting: “Returned a lot!! It probably wasn’t long enough for hxc Beatles fans, but for me, in my mad opinion, you could easily make two hours out of it.’
Another gushed: “I saw The Beatles come back. I’ll have a much shorter summary over the next few days.”
While a third said: “I love #TheBeatles but the #GetBack documentary was long and boring. It was presented like we were watching a painter paint a masterpiece… but in reality it was like to watch the painter buy the paint before he actually paints. The Beatles anthology wasn’t. I want my 8 hours back.’
Others reacted more positively to the series, tweeting: “Peter Jackson’s new documentary #GetBack about the final days of the #Beatles is brilliant. It is an investment of time, but worth it. Especially when the Blue Meanies actually show up. (You have to watch)’
