Natalia Beristain has been trying to make the dream of this film come true, as she describes, for about 10 years, the same years in which the story was thought from start to finish, trying to make the world understand that when we talk about missing men and women , they don’t want to say that it speaks of numbers but of people, lives, stories, families and other pains that are not mentioned in the statistics.

“For ten years I thought about this story; It seems to me that we need to understand that when we talk about the numbers of the disappeared, we are talking about life stories, destroyed families and unspeakable pain. The only way I can talk about it is through cinema”, Beristain.

This film, according to the director, was made in collaboration with civil society, since it is the bonds created with it that gave her the strength to represent this day by day and bring a little hope through the film which, upon its premiere at the Morelia International Film Festival, it was widely praised and applauded.

As some seek out their loved ones, they become not just a support network, but a new family. “We’re together because they’ve already taken everything from us. Let it be known that we are no longer afraid!Let the voices unite, let’s make more noise.
