Sideshow has unveiled a new unboxing video, this time of Hot Toys’ new Doc Brown collectible. As described in the first Back to the Future movie in the Twin Pines scene, Doc Brown is ready to build a DeLorean loaded with plutonium to travel through time.
With a facial expression frozen in saying “Great Scott!” Doc comes complete in a hazmat suit with a Hawaiian shirt underneath, case and bag to store his gear, and a variety of detailed accessories including remote control for the time machine, clipboard, two stopwatches, chart, portable printer and a set of tools.
The Deluxe version also comes with a plutonium case with a removable plutonium bottle. Overall I like this figure but the head sculpt has me lost a bit. I’m not a fan of having that permanent face and her hair has definitely lost its fuzzy, wild quality like in the movie. I appreciate all the little details with the accessories though.
