While we wait James Gunn And Peter SafranDC Cinematic Universe’s Future Plans Will Be Revealed, All Kinds Of Crazy Reports Are Being Shared! We recently reported it Wonder Woman 3 was canceled as it did not fit into new plans being planned at DC Studios.
As I’ve been saying for a while, I personally have a feeling that Gunn and Safran are going to shut down the Snyderverse, which is also what THR is saying. They added in their report that the cancellation of “Wonder Woman 3is the closing curtain of the Snyderverse and the heroes chosen by the director Zack Snyder for its Justice League. This sees the closing of Man of Steel 2with a return Henry Cavilland having no more Aquaman, fronted by Jason Momoa.”
These characters were also supposed to appear in The Flash, and even Cavill shot a cameo for the movie. But “sources say there’s debate within the studio about whether or not to keep the cameo and whether its inclusion promises anything the studio isn’t going to deliver.”
These are all things I’ve heard even from my own sources and the problems with Henry Cavill’s Superman were brought to light a couple of weeks ago as there was “no forward momentum in the project”. From everything I’ve heard, mixed with all these reports, I’d be surprised if Cavill actually returns as Superman.
I just think Gunn and Safran will take things in a very different direction for DC movies moving forward. Someday we’ll have the answers to our questions, but in the meantime, these outgoing reports are all we have!
