We just have to have fun Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Specialand it was the perfect gift to hold us over until the end of the film trilogy next year. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be director James GunnIt’s a farewell to the characters we’ve come to know and love, and one of them sat down to talk a bit about the film.
Zoe Saldanawho plays Gamora in the movies, recently promoted her next film Avatars sequel, and opened up to Comic Book to talk about the ending Guardians of the Galaxy movie. When asked if the recently released trailer was an accurate representation of the final film, Saldana said:
“It’s an accurate representation. It’s goodbye. James Gunn is a really good writer. He really enjoys writing human characters with flaws. In a way, it’s going to be a good conversation, just like Avatars, to look around you. It’s not just about your journey, it’s about the journey of your environment and the people around you… maybe animals and nature. So it’s going to be really nice.”
I think we were all counting on this film to be a beautiful goodbye. Gunn has put so much heart into this story, and I know it’s going to be good. I just hope it doesn’t break our hearts too much.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is scheduled for May 5, 2023.
