After a delay was announced for the upcoming Girls of River City 2, Way Forward announced when the game will launch in North America. Mark your calendar for December 15th to return to River City for even more fun.
With new playable characters, online play, four player co-op, new weapons, shops, items, and more enemies to take down than you can shake a stick, this is sure to be a hit for any fan of the River city girls Games. Misako and Kyoko are joined by Riki, Kunio, Marian (from Double Dragons), and Provie (from River City Ransom: Underground) as they battle the Sanwakai crime syndicate that has thrown River City into chaos. The game will be fully voiced by Kayli Mills like Misako, Kira Buckland like Kyōko, Greg Chun like Kunio, Kaiji Tang like riki, De Zumaki such as Provie, e Erika Harlacher like Marian.
The voice work for the first River City Girls was spot on and from what I’ve seen in the trailers for the game, this one is going to be just as good. And let’s not forget the soundtrack that you can listen to and/or download right away to get ready for the game. Returning composer Megan McDuffee made another great soundtrack. I’ve been listening to it since it came out and I seriously couldn’t have picked a better composer for these games.
McDuffee has created a soundtrack so dynamic that even outside of the game it’s super fun to listen to. If you are a fan of River city girls or need a good gift for someone who is, be sure to pick up a copy of this game for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PC via Steam on December 15th.
