‘Black Adam’ marked the return of Henry Cavill as Superman, after not wearing the Son of Krypton suit since 2016. At the time, reports claimed that the return was possible because Dwayne Johnson lobbied executives to make the Man of Steel cameo possible in the film, but now the board is very angry with the actor.
According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, the new management of DC Films is mad at Dwayne Johnson for pushing Henry Cavill’s return. Despite the fact that the ‘Black Adam’ premiere had a good reception for the actor’s cameo, the company didn’t like that Cavill is now busy with the EUDC, as plans for the future may leave him out.
