Showtime has released a promotional video for Yellow jackets Season 2, and announces that the dramatic thriller will premiere on Friday, March 24, 2023. The first season of this show has been a pretty crazy ride, and I was hooked from start to finish, and fans like me have been thrilled about what will bring the second season.
The series follows a talented high school girls soccer team who survive a plane crash in the remote northern wilderness. The story “tells their descent from a complicated but thriving team to savage clans, while also tracing the lives they attempted to rebuild nearly 25 years later, proving that the past was never really the past and what began in the desert is all nothing but finished.”
The show was created by Ashley Lyle And Bart Nickerson (narcos), and recites Melanie Lynsky (Rock Castle), Juliet Lewis (Camping), Christian Ricci (Z: The beginning of everything) And Brown cypress (Unforgettable), Lauren Ambrose (Six feet underground, servant), Simone Kessel (Obi-Wan Kenobi) And Elijah Wood (The Lord of the Rings) in a season-long guest arc.
The series is also starring Tawny Cypress, Ella Purnell, Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, Sammi Hanratty, Steven Krueger, And Warren Cole.
Previously speaking about the second season, Ricci said it’s “crazier, more shocking and really gripping and fun.” She went on to say, “I can’t really go into too much detail, but I will say the first two scripts blew the whole cast away. So it’s even wilder.”
