Check out our list of over 20 actors who have parodied themselves in film and TV below!
Brad Pitt – Donkey
In 2002 Brad Pitt appeared in two hilarious episodes of Donkey on Mtv. It was actually pretty crazy to see Pitt show up on this show! In one segment he was running around the streets of Los Angeles wreaking havoc with the gang while wearing monkey clothes, and in another segment, he staged his own kidnapping, which was so funny.
“Hi. I’m Brad Pitt and I’m going to be kidnapped.”

Neil Patrick Harris he showed up in this hilarious comedy and played a crazy version of himself. He eats mushrooms, hooks up with prostitutes and pretends to be gay to get more “poo”.

[On whether he has any regrets] “Garfield, maybe.”
John Malkovich – Being John Malkovich
Director Spike Jonze’S Being John Malkovich it was such a crazy and surreal film. Inside, John CusaccoCraig Schwartz’s character stumbles upon a portal that can take him directly into the actor’s mind John Malkovichand from there it starts to control his mind!
“It’s my head, Schwartz. It’s my head! See you in court!”
Kareen Abdul-Jabbar – Airplane
This is one of my favorite comedies of all time and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as co-pilot Roger Murdocck in the ridiculous denial of being the basketball legend that he truly is is hilarious. I especially like how he gets defensive when people mention his defensive weaknesses.
“Shit, I don’t know! LISTEN, KID! I’ve been hearing this shit since I was at UCLA. I’m out there busting my ass every night. Tell your old man to drag Walton and Lanier up and down the field for 48 minutes.
Carl Weathers – Development Arrested
Rocky And Predator actor Charles Weathers plays Tobias’ acting coach, who is struggling as an actor. It’s funny because he’s more interested in free food and drink than anything that’s going on around him
“Hey, hey, hey. There’s still a lot of meat on that bone. Now take this home, put it in a pot, add some broth, a potato… Honey, you’ve got a stew going.
Ben Affleck and Matt Damon – Jay and Silent Bob fight back
It was fun when Ben Affleck And Matt Damon he showed up in Kevin Smith’S Jay and Silent Bob fight back, and I loved that they played ridiculous versions of themselves. At the time I remember a lot of people thought these actors must be assholes, so it was fun to watch them perform. Director Gus Van Sant he also appeared in the film as a version of himself who was too busy counting money to direct anything.
“No, assholes–t, because I wasn’t WITH a prostitute today, ha-HA!”
Michael J Fox – Curb your enthusiasm
when Larry David moves to New York City in season 8’s Curb your enthusiasm his neighbor upstairs is Michael J. Fox and their relationship begins with an incident of silence and Larry drawing Hitler’s mustache on the cover of his father-in-law’s magazine. Fox gives Larry a shaken soda and starts trampling his apartment in boots, and Larry thinks he’s using his Parkinson’s as an excuse to harass him.
“Let me understand. I’ll be back in two shocks.
Daniel Radcliffe – Extras
Daniel Radcliff popping in Rickey Gervais’ Extra it was a lot of fun to see. The series featured many celebrities playing exaggerated versions of themselves, but this was one of my favorites. In it, Radcliff was a super-horny version of himself, wearing a boy scout uniform and harassing all the women on set. At one point he even throws a condom on Dame Diana Rigg’s head.
“I did it with a girl… relationship-wise.”
Liam Neeson – Life is too short
In this mockumentary TV series created by Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant and Warwick Davis, one of the best and funniest scenes is when the group meet Liam Neeson as himself, and he tells them he wants to improve the comedy. The way it plays out is amazing.
“I contracted AIDS… from an African prostitute.”
Alice Cooper – Wayne’s World
When Wayne and Garth get backstage passes to see Alice Cooper at her Milwaukee show, they can’t wait to meet Cooper! But, when they meet him, it hasn’t turned out at all what they expected.
“Actually, it’s pronounced mill-e-wah-que, which is Algonquin for ‘the good land.'”
Bob Barker – Happy Gilmore Girls
Bob Barker in Happy Gilmore it’s one of the great cameos ever when he’s teamed with Gilmore in a celebrity golf tournament. When Happy’s game begins to suffer from someone teasing him, Barker isn’t happy and it leads to one of the big fights in the film.
“I don’t want a ‘piece’ of you, I want EVERYTHING!”
Mike Tyson – The hangover
The Hangover was such a hilarious movie and it was a fun surprise when The Wolf Pack ends up at Mike Tyson’s house due to his tiger being stolen. Tyson said he was drunk and stoned during the filming of the movie, and he didn’t even remember doing it.
“Like you said, we all do stupid things when we’re fucked.”
Seth Green – Enturoage
It was fun to watch Green set he plays an exaggerated, exaggerated version of himself. In the series, he constantly teases the character Eric about his relationship with Sloan. Actually, Green is a super nice guy.
“Hey, did you tell Sloan I said what’s up?”
Patrick Stewart – Extras
Another great appearance in the Rickey Gervais series Extra and when Patrick Stewart he shows up to play himself. In the story, Gervais’ character Andy Millman has been trying to pitch a project to Stewart, and Stewart talks about his project he wants to do about how she can mind-strip him, which is a fun nod to her X’s. -Men. professor x character

Billy Zane – Zoolander
Billy Zane appeared in this classic comedy as himself opposite male model Derek Zoolander (Ben Stiller), and when he finds himself on a “walk” with Hansel, Zane is trying to get Zoolander’s ego in check.
“It’s a walk! It’s a walk…”
Julia Roberts – Ocean’s 12
Julia Roberts’appearance in Oscan 12 it’s easily one of the craziest appearances by an actor playing himself because Roberts also played a completely different character named Tess, and everyone told her she looked just like Julia Roberts. There’s a point where the plan calls for her to try to deceive Bruce Willis that she is Julie Roberts. In the credits, the character of Tess is credited for portraying her.
“She wasn’t there Four weddings and a funeral.”
Arnold Schwarzenegger – Hero of the Last Action
Ultimate action hero it was a pretty crazy movie, and it’s a movie within a movie. The story follows a young boy who finds himself in an imaginary cinematic world and with whom he goes on a crazy adventure Arnold Schwarzenegger. The film is an epic parody of the actor’s persona.
“To be, or not to be… Not to be.”
The entire cast – This is the end
And here are the rest of the actors! In This is the end, James Franco throws a party with a group of his friends with the hits of the apocalypse. The characteristics of the film Jonah Hill, Seth Rogen, Jay Baruchel, Danny McBride, Michael Cera, Emma Watson, Craig Robinsonand more, and all playing crazy versions of themselves.
“A huge earthquake happens, who do they save first? Actors. They will save Clooney, Sandra Bullock, me. If there’s room, you’ll come.”
