Daisy Ridley (Star Wars) will star in and executive produce a series adaptation of Nina de Gramont’s novel The Christie affairwhich is an Agatha Christie-inspired thriller.
The story is set in 1926, when Christie’s husband’s affair became public, “Agatha Christie vanished for eleven days. In this retelling, told through the eyes of her husband Nan O’Dea’s (Ridley) lover, Nan and Agatha weave into each other’s lives in ways they never expected.
Juliette Towhidi (Calendar Girls, death comes to Pemberley) will write the script and Miramax TV will develop and produce the show.

It looks like it will be a good project for Ridley, who also stars Neill Burger’S The swamp king’s daughter, adaptation of the psychological thriller novel of the same name; and will also star in Joachim Ronning’S Young woman and the sea.
