After several months of waiting for Netflix’s official announcement about ‘The Sandman’ season 2, Neil Gaiman has finally confirmed that there will be more Tom Sturridge as Morpheus story on the small screen. This means the appearance of one of the most anticipated Eternals and also one of the most interesting to appear in the graphic novel.
From the recent Comic-Con Experience 2022 in Brazil, Neil Gaiman confirmed Delirium’s presence in ‘Sandmen 2’. Namely, the younger sister of the Eternals, by Tom Sturridge as Dream, Kirby Howell-Baptiste as Death, Mason Alexander Park as Desire and Donna Preston as Despair.
In the video, Neil Gaiman reveals new details on the matter ‘Sandmen 2’: “We’ve got stuff for you in Season 2. We have more Endless members on the way, including the youngest Endless member. Don’t tell anyone, but it’s Delirium,” said the Netflix writer. The second season of the fantasy series will adapt the next two arcs of the comic, namely “The Dollhouse” and “Dreamland”.
currently, There is no actress confirmed to play Delirium for ‘Sandmen 2’, but being the smallest of the Eternals, she should be a young woman, capable of conveying the instability of the character. Delirium is a girl who constantly changes her appearance, with a cold but sometimes chaotic temperament, and who shows her brothers the utmost affection and protection.

What to expect from the second season of ‘The Sandman’?
Although in the Netflix series Delirium will be presented for the first time in the second season of ‘The Sandman’, in the comic by Neil Gaiman it appears from the first issue of the Morpheus story.
