It’s a wonderful life he is a beloved, Franco Capra-directed Christmas movie that is watched by families every year during the holidays. I’ve loved this movie since I was a kid, and I don’t think there’s been a Christmas that I haven’t watched the movie. It’s one of those movies that brings joy to parties!
Well, thanks to Stephen King, I will never watch the movie the same way again. He has a very different take on the film and after being asked on Twitter if he would ever do a dark version of the film, King shared his twisted take and I will never look at Jimmy Stewart’s George Bailey character the same way again . He says:
“At the end of IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE, Jimmy Stewart appears to have gone insane and talks about murdering his entire family. He just has that look.
You know what? She’s right, and I both hate and love that she’s right! She has that crazy look in her eye, and now I want to see King write a vacation story! One thing is for sure, I will never look at the movie the same way again.
