Jason David Frank’s wife Tammie talks about her husband and their last night together

Last week we learned the sad news that the Power Rangers star Jason David Frank committed suicide. The news hurts, but it’s hard to fully understand what Frank’s family and friends have been through, especially with reports that his marital status was up in the air. Because of this, Jason’s wife Tammie Frank wanted to set the record straight by confirming that they were still together and navigating their relationship.

In a statement shared with People Magazine, Tammie Frank opened up about her husband and the last night they spent together, saying at one point she left him alone for a short break and when she got back to the hotel room, she was the police had to intervene. to help her open the door.

She said:

“My name is Tammie Frank, and my husband was Jason David Frank, who tragically lost his life by suicide just last week. While Jason was a well known name to some, we have lived a very normal life with ups and downs, just like anyone else. It shocked and saddened me beyond belief to see the media turn my family’s tragedy into a fairy tale. Since Jason’s death, I have been harassed online and can no longer bear to watch my husband’s good name slandered.

“I loved my husband and we were trying to work through our issues. His death came as a shock to me as much as anyone else. The truth is, I had no idea Jason was thinking about ending things. Yes, he had been struggling with mental health and depression before but i never could have predicted what was going to happen that night…supposed to be a fun weekend but instead i lost the love of my life jason was a good man but he wasn’t without his demons He was human, just like the rest of us.

“We originally planned to separate; that part is true. However, this is only part of the story. The part that hasn’t been told is that at the time of his death, we had called off our separation and were in the process. Don’t get me wrong, we have had ups and downs and many problems during our 19 years of marriage, but this has been a particularly difficult year for us.

“A year ago, my daughter Shayla, who Jason helped raise as his daughter, died suddenly. Jason was the one who found her when it happened, and the situation emotionally destroyed our family. Between losing her and helping raise his baby son, Jason and I started having marital problems.For anyone who has known the pain of losing a child, I know you understand how such a loss changes things in your marriage.

“We danced and hung out at the event until the bar closed. When we got back to the hotel, Jason and I were having a heartfelt and emotional chat in his room. To help Jason relax and sober up before falling asleep, I I went downstairs to get us some snacks from the lobby. I must have been gone no more than 10 minutes. I went back upstairs and started knocking on the door with no response. I knocked repeatedly and kept calling her name to open the door.

“I don’t know if hotel staff or a guest called the police, but after I was taken downstairs by the police, they were able to open the door and found Jason had taken his own life. These it was the ‘ailments’ he has been mentioned numerous times online.. All we want is to remember Jason and our happiest memories, and get over the grief of losing a loved one..
