Netflix has released a trailer for an extremely funny looking Indonesian action comedy titled The Big 4. It looks like the movie will be loaded with some great action and fighting sequences! I love watching these kinds of over the top action movies with crazy characters, and this one will definitely provide crazy entertainment!
The film comes from the director Timo Tjahjanto (May the devil take you, The night comes for us) and the story follows an elite assassin targeted by homicidal gangsters after he spares a girl’s life during a massacre. Here is the synopsis:
A textbook detective investigates his father’s death and follows a lead to a remote tropical island, only to discover his true identity as the leader of a group of assassins. Now hunted by her enemies, she must team up with the criminals her father trained: four down-and-out retired assassins who can’t wait to get back into the game.
