Harrison Ford is back in action as Indiana Jones and Disney released the first Lucasfilm teaser trailer Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny! Yes, that’s the title, and I can’t wait to see this amazing and exciting new adventure! I’m not entirely sure what the Destiny Dial is, but I’m excited to find out! Also, old Harrison Ford looks amazing!
The film was directed by James Mangold (Ford versus Ferrari, Logan). The story is set in 1969 and Indiana Jones “lives against the backdrop of the space race, but the American effort to beat the Russians to the moon brings with it some uncomfortable truths for Indy.” It’s explained:
“The simple fact is that the moon landing program was run by a group of ex-Nazis. How “ex” they are is the question. And it makes Indy turn up his nose…” Casting Indiana – a man always looking for the secrets of the Earth rather than the stars – in the age of the astronaut finds him even more a man out of time. “It’s not just that the model of what a hero is has completely changed. It’s not just that they’re looking for something where there’s nothing up there – it’s like Reno without the gambling, or whatever his line is. But the people behind it are, you know, his sworn enemies.
The film comes from the producer Steven Spielberg and is also the protagonist Mads Mikkelsen (one more round), Phoebe Waller Bridge (Lots of fleas), Boyd Holbrook (Logano), Shaunette Renee Wilson (The resident), And Thomas Kretschmann (The Avengers: Age of Ultron).
