Born in Moses Lake, Washington, Clarence was the second of six children. He grew up on military bases because his father was an Air Force officer. Finishing the series, Gilyard returned to his studies and received his Master of Fine Arts, shortly after entering the University of Nevada to work.. Dean Nancy J. He had been married to his second wife, Elena, since 2001.
