Eminem is returning to Marvel Comics for an Amazing Spider-Man variant cover that features the talented rapper taking on Spider-Man in a rap battle. In fact, the art is an homage to the rap battle scene from Eminem’s 2002 film 8 miles.
Eminem shared on Chirping: “HONORED to be in the official variant of The Amazing Spider-Man (2022).” It was also announced that the variant will go on sale on November 22 through Eminem’s website.
While the variant art is new, the cover art is for Amazing Spider-Man #1 (Legacy #895) which was released in April. It was illustrated by Salvador Larroca and Edgar Delgado.
This isn’t the first time Eminem has appeared in a Marvel comic, in 2009 he teamed up with Frank Castle in Eminem/Punisher #1, and together they take on the terrorists who disrupt one of his concerts.
