Image Comics is coming out with a new comic by Ed Laroche called Almighty. This five-issue, high-stakes mini-series launches February 1, 2023 and is an original sci-fi/fantasy epic described as the action of Mad Max: Fury Road combined with the mutated horror of Annihilation. Set in the year 2098 in a Third World America, the world has been ravaged by economic collapse, anarchic warfare and a mysterious environmental disaster enclosed behind a huge wall. When a girl is kidnapped, a killer is hired to find her and bring her home. “I can’t wait for people to experience this story; each issue builds tension culminating in one of the most unexpected climaxes put to paper,” said Laroche.
