Marvel and Netflix Reckless the series was really great and it was a shame when we learned that it had been cancelled. There was more story to tell and fans would have loved to see it continue! There were several character arcs that went unfinished.
One of those characters was Karen Page, the former office manager of Matt Murdock’s law firm. She was played by Deborah Ann Woll and his character arc was actually turning out to be quite interesting.
During a recent podcast appearance Inside You with Michael RosenbaumWoll spoke about the Daredevil series and said his role feels “unfinished.”
“The Marvel series feels unfinished to me because we were canceled when we thought we’d have more. There’s a part of me that was like, ‘I had more to say about Karen,’ and I felt like I was in the middle of that story.
He continued to compare his time in True blood to Recklesssaid:
“While True Blood, for all its ups and downs, triumphs and flaws, we managed to wrap up. I knew we were wrapping it up and could say hello to everyone. I stole something from the set – I couldn’t steal anything from our Daredevil set. I didn’t get to say goodbye to the crew as we all thought we would be back. So that’s really what I’d want back, and I wouldn’t get all of that back, obviously.
Now, Marvel Studios is bringing Daredevil back for the Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Againbut I’m not sure if any of the other cast members are different from Charlie Cox And Vincent D’Onofrio they will return to reprise their roles. I’d love to see Woll return to her role, but we’ll just have to wait and see how things play out.
