EXCLUSIVE: Labid Aziz’s People of Culture Studios has formed a joint venture with Adel Nur’s management and production company Atomik Content to jointly manage talent and develop high-end feature films, TV series and hybrid projects focused on action films to produce and sell.

The first talent signed by the joint venture is Ray Sefo, founder and president of the Professional Fighters League, who will work with other MMA fighters and Hollywood talent to create ensemble and heightened action thrillers on a budget of less than $15 million to create and develop.

Sefo is a semi-retired New Zealand kickboxer, boxer, mixed martial artist, fight promoter and actor who founded the Mixed Martial Arts League PFL in 2018. The six-time Muay Thai World Champion and eight-time K-1 World Grand Prix Finals tournament competitor has been an actor since 1995 and made his professional wrestling debut at the 2012 Inoki Bom-Ba-Ye in Japan, where he and his tag-team partners came together Hiromi Amada was defeated by Atsushi Sawada and Hideki Suzuki. Since retiring from mixed martial arts competition in 2015, he has relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada where he continues to train mixed martial arts outside of Xtreme Couture and is instrumental in the current growth and success of PFL.

“With the success and continued growth of the PFL, I really wanted to dedicate myself to my mission to provide more opportunities for growth and success for the many talented and diverse athletes we have in the PFL and beyond,” said Sefo . “After spending some time with Andy and Labid, I knew PoC Studios was where I wanted to be and build something related to my film and television endeavors.

The veteran fighter added: “There are some extremely talented creators who are also fighters and we want to support them and design and create content with them, for them and around them. We are convinced that such a partnership will create innovative content of high quality can result. PoC Studios is a content studio that offers a comprehensive approach to the production, financing and distribution of film and television content intended for global audiences.
