Trailer and poster of the action and fighting film AS GOOD AS DEAD with Michael Jai White

A new trailer and poster for the action film has been released As good as dead. The film is the protagonist Michael Jai White (To produce, The dark Knight), Tom Berenger, Louis Mandylor, Gabriela Quezada, Gillian White, Michael Copone, Roberto “Sanz” Sanchez, Maurice Mendoza, Luca OrielAnd Mario Zaragoza. The film is directed by R. Ellis Frazier (Misfire, Eight Days Charles, Theft). The screenplay is written by Michael Jai White.

Here is the synopsis:

Bryant (Michael Jai White), a man with a mysterious past, moves to a small Mexican border town to make a fresh start and live a simple life. While there, he reluctantly befriends a troubled local teenager who has recently lost his mother and been recruited by the local street gang. Bryant keeps the boy on the straight and narrow by introducing him to martial arts and taking on the roles of mentor, teacher and father figure. As the story unfolds, we learn that Bryant is so much more than a man who moved to Mexico to live a simple life. Bryant is running away from a complex and violent past he believes he has left behind. As his past catches up with him, he’s forced into a life-or-death struggle to clear his name, save the boy, and get back everything he left behind.

It looks like a cheesy action movie that would probably be fun to watch. I bet White had a blast writing and making this movie, so she might end up being decent. Check out the trailer and poster below and see As good as dead in select theaters and on VOD December 16.
