Marvel Studios has been slowly integrating mutant characters into the MCU since the merger of Disney and FOX. There have been hints of mutant DNA in projects like Mrs. Marvel, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of MadnessAnd Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Then you have Deadpool 3 coming with the return of Ryan Reynolds like Deadpool and Hugh Jackman like Wolverine.
With mutants making their way into the MCU, there’s another actor who would also like to return to reprise his role from the Fox movies! That actor is Kelsey Grammer who played Hank McCoy aka Beast. During a recent interview with MovieWeb, he threatened:
“If they don’t ask me to return to the role of Beast, I will never go to Disneyland again. I wish they would. I want to.”
I’m open to the idea of bringing Grammer back into the role of Beast! I always thought he was great in the role and it’s a character he could still play. If Marvel has come up with a sensible way to bring him back as Beast, why not?
Now, while I’d love to see Grammer as Beast again, what do other fans think? Would you like to see him reprise his role or would you like to see another actor in the cast? If so, who else would you like to see play the character in the future MCU?
