Joseph Quinn and Lupita Nyong’o to Star in ‘A Quiet Place’ Spinoff

After two very good films, the universe of ‘A Quiet Place’ is now preparing the first of its spin-offs called ‘Day One’, in which, as the title says, the first day the apocalypse came to life will be explored . . Now the first protagonists who will join the prequel are already available, they are Joseph Quinn and Mexican actress Lupita Nyongo.

According to information from Deadline, Joseph Quinn and Lupita Nyong’o would team up ‘A quiet place: first day’. The actors would meet in final talks to adapt one of the ideas of John Krasinski, director, actor and screenwriter of the first two installments of the series, to the big screen. It’s worth mentioning that nothing is confirmed at the moment, but details suggest they would just wait to hone in on the final details.

Recently, both actors experience one of the finest moments of their career, of Joseph Quinn thanks to his recent appearance as Eddie Munson in the successful fifth season of ‘Stranger Things’ on Netflix. While Lupita Nyong’o stars in ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ which is currently in theaters worldwide.

As for the spin-off of the action-thriller franchise, it is known that ‘Day one’ will not cope ‘A quiet place’ nor its sequel, so they would just focus on new characters trying to survive the arrival of the sound-driven monsters. When does ‘A Quiet Place: Day One’ come out?

After the successes of ‘Smile’ and ‘Top Gun: Maverick’, Paramount is having a great time between its releases which is why it is confident to meet the deadlines for the before ‘A quiet place: first day’, next March 8, 2024. The horror and suspense film is expected to start recording in 2023 and the full cast will be confirmed.

For those who don’t remember, Lupita Nyong’o has already had a participation in another suspense film, such as ‘Us’ by Jordan Peele, a film acclaimed by a part of the fans, but which, in terms of specialized critics, has no mi like it, it was so good. Also, she now shares credits with Tenoch Huerta, Mabel Cadena, Letitia Wright and the rest of the cast of ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’.

On Joseph Quinn’s side, he is currently working on Luna Carmoon’s “Hoard” and has no other projects ahead of him.
