With the release of ‘Terrifier 2’, the brutal horror film that caused people to vomit upon its release in theaters in the United States, many were introduced for the first time to Art the Clown, a killer clown who would leave Pennywise trembling by Stephen King. But few know the true origin of him, and that is not even the first part of the story of Damien Leone.

It all started in ‘All Hallow’s Eve’ the first film in which Art the Clown appeared, and also director Damien Leone’s debut in the field of feature films. It’s a story that was released directly in DVD format and did not pass through the cinema. It was October 29, 2013, the perfect time for its original Spanish title, “Halloween’s Eve.”

Really ‘All Hallow’s Eve’ where is one of the most brutal scenes of Art the Clown, the one in which the sinister clown was seen committing crimes against some children. Leone cleverly incorporated all his previous shorts into this film, since they were presented on a television where a babysitter and two little ones find the VHS tapes of their performances.

It is then that, as in ‘El Aro’ or in reference to the saga ‘V/H/S’, Art the Clown walks off the screen ‘All Hallow’s Eve’ and becomes a real killer, within the plot of the film. For this and many other brilliant ideas, masters of horror such as Stephen King or Mike Flanagan have not hesitated to advise and explain that ‘Terrifier 2’ has reinvented the gore genre.

Where to stream ‘Terrifier’ 1 and 2?

With the high demand caused by Damien Leone’s second part, “Terrifier 1” can currently be seen on Amazon Prime Video in parts, while the second installment is still in theaters in the US, but streaming has already arrived in the Amazon store , and also on the iTunes service, with a price tag of $4.99 dollars, about $100 Mexican pesos.

But it has also been confirmed that ‘Terrifier 2’ will be released on December 29 in cinemas in Mexico, through Cinemex and Cinépolis. So with “All Hallow’s Eve,” you have to go back to Art the Clown’s previous stories to understand how he survived death and is now back to continue terrorizing new victims.

As Damien Leone said, there is one brutal scene in ‘Terrifier 2’ that made many viewers jump out, feel dizzy and, in the most extreme cases, pass out. So, you should watch at least a small preview of Art the Clown before tackling the most extreme new crimes of him.
