It’s official: Taylor Lautner (‘Twilight’) marries Taylor Dome and now they both have the same name

It’s official. The wedding ceremony between Taylor Lautner and her girlfriend Taylor Dome took place on Friday November 11th. The couple got married after three years of relationship and are finally husband and wife. The wedding consisted of a very intimate ceremony, held at an Epoch Estate Wines cellar, a few kilometers from Robles, a city located in California. After this I want the marriage to be made official, but the union also involves another small and comical detail: now there will be two Taylor Lautners on the record.

The connection was attended by a team from the British newspaper Daily Mail, who were able to comment on the details of the wedding and take photographs of the event. According to the outlet, the ceremony was intimate, with around 100 guests, all close friends and family of the couple. In the images we can see the couple’s clothing, which looked elegant, but opted for a light and exaggerated look. The bride wore a tulle dress with flowers and some butterflies, embroidered on the skirt and veil, and the actor wore a black jacket suit, white shirt and bow tie.

But, without a doubt, one of the most striking details of this marriage union was the adoption of the actor’s surname by the bride, which gives rise to the repetition of their names and their first surname, since both are called Taylor. The actor teased the couple’s decision three months ago on The Kelly Clarkson Show, where he explained that once his fiancée marries, both of them would become “literally, the same person.” Additionally, Lautner explained that to “differentiate” they refer to her as “Tay” and to him as “Taylor.” And it’s official, with this celebration we can already say that there are two Taylor Lautners in our world.

This marriage puts the final touch on a relationship that began three years ago when the actor’s sister introduced both lovers. Two years later, Lautner proposed to Tay and, of course, she was delighted to accept. The ‘Twilight’ actor explained a few months ago, during an interview with Access Hollywood, that he had proposed to her in the kitchen of her house because her wife loves to cook and wanted something simple. Since then both have appeared happy in photos and posts on social media, where they defined themselves as friends and colleagues, as well as great lovers.

‘Twilight’ marked a before and after for many people, but it also left a small, comical mark on the Taylors’ relationship. Lautner has already commented on a few occasions that his fiancée, now his wife, belonged to Edward’s team in the well-known vampire saga. It seems that Tay was more attracted by the pale Robert Pattinson than by the werewolf Jacob, which has entertained the fans and the actor himself, who once, referring to the matter, said: “It’s about time I won something”.
