Konami recently released its Christmas packaging for the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game, Great mavens. This set contains 115 cards that are all Ultra Rares, some of which are Pharaoh Rares (and 12 of which are only available in Pharaoh Rares). It’s filled with great reissues including Lightning Storm, Black Luster Soldier – Soldier of Chaos, Change of Heart, Harpie’s Feather Duster and so much more. It also has some new cards for Sky Strikers, Mayakashi, Witchcrafters and Ishizu Ishtar fans form the anime. These latter cards are proving very popular paired with Tearlaments right now.
Konami was kind enough to send me a box of Great mavens. Each box includes four five-card decks (for a total of 20 cards) and 70 card sleeves featuring one of 6 Sky Striker, Mayakashi, and Witchcrafter designs. I was able to pull out a couple of cards that I really wanted and I think this is a great gift for you Yu-Gi-Oh! friends who like to open sealed products.
