Lionsgate has released the trailer for a new upcoming serial killer thriller titled Mental Cage. The movie stars Martin Lorenzo, John MalkovichAnd Melissa Roxburghand the story follows two detectives who seek the help of a serial killer in prison while an imitator killer terrorizes the city. It’s like a mix of Mindhunter And The silence of the lambs.
In this “gripping thriller”, detectives Jake (Lawrence) and Mary (Roxburgh) seek the help of an incarcerated serial killer called “The Artist” (Malkovich) when an imitator killer strikes. As Mary searches for clues into The Artist’s bright but twisted psyche, she and Jake are drawn into a devilish game of cat and mouse, in a race against time to stay one step ahead of The Artist and his impersonator.
It looks rather creepy as the killer’s victims are turned into works of art. The film was directed by Mauro Borrelli and is also the protagonist Robert Knepper, Aiden TurnerAnd Jacob Grodnik. It doesn’t sound like a great movie, but I’ll try.
Mental Cage will be released in selected theaters and on VOD starting December 16, 2022.
