Covid-19 Causes ‘Breaking Bad’ Actor Aaron Paul to Cancel Eric Appel’s Cameo in ‘Weird: The Al Yankovic Story’

breaking Bad Actor Aaron Paul was supposed to play Cameo Eric Appel in the bizarre Al Jankovic biography, but life happened.

In 2010, Paul starred in the comic book Funny or Death, directed by Eric Appel. The Stranger: The Al Jankovich Story. In the skit, Paul plays Jankovic and also plays Olivia Wilde and Patton Oswalt.

Things took a full turn as Appel is now co-writing (with Al Jankovic) and directing a new upcoming biography. In Interview with CinemaBlend, Paul talks about how much he loves having Daniel Radcliffe star in the movie.

“This is so good. I love doing this. I love al [Yankovic]I love Eric Appel, who wrote and directed the movie Funny Or Die. He co-wrote the movie with Al and is also a director. I read this script years ago and it was beautiful. It was exactly when they got into a fight and were wondering if they could make this article and I was really excited to see him finally getting back together and frankly Daniel. [Radcliffe] Influential. So I think it will definitely crush it. ”

Why not cameo? This can be attributed to Covid. Before going on set, the actor tested positive for Covid-19. “’Oh no!’ I will say. So I couldn’t do that and then I was out for 10 days,” Paul said. “I’ve never felt bad in my life. It just pissed me off.”

The Stranger: The Al Jankovich Story Production began earlier this month in Los Angeles. Jankovic also co-produced Funny or Die with Mike Farah, Joe Farrell and Whitney Hodak, and tango with Tim Huddington, Lia Bowman and Max Silva. Funny Or Die co-produced with Henry Muñoz III and Tango Neil Shah, Appel.
