Netflix is partnering with the Arab Arts and Culture Foundation (AFAC) to support five Arab female filmmakers. Under the deal, Streamer will provide a one-time $250,000 grant to female producers and directors in the Arab world through the Netflix Creative Capital Fund, which aims to create new opportunities for lesser-known topics in the entertainment industry.
