‘The Little Mermaid’: A Disney animator finally explains the priest’s “lump” at the wedding

For years, a strange moment of “The Little Mermaid” has been circulating everywhere. During the marriage between Ursula (camouflaged as a human) and Eric, fans of the film shared an image in which a strange bulge could be seen in the priest’s pants.. Since then, the theories about the origin of that emotion by the priest have practically become an urban legend surrounding the 1989 film. Well, now, Tom Bancroft, one of Disney’s most veteran animators, explained this moment.

He did this through his TikTok account, where Bancroft showed the picture of the moment and drew a drawing to clarify what the controversial ripple really is about.
