Frankie Muniz is best known for his role as Malcolm in the beloved sitcom Malcolm in the middlewho starred breaking Bad‘S Bryan Cranston like his father, long before he turned into Walter White. The series ran from 2000 to 2006, aired 151 episodes, and ran for seven seasons. It allowed fans to watch this dysfunctional family grow up and it was a lot of fun.
It would make sense that some of the stars and fans of the series might want to see a reboot or reunion, as we’re getting a lot of them these days, but it might surprise some that Cranston would be ready to return, seeing as he’s a busier actor now. Apparently, not only does he want the reboot, but he’s heavily involved in making it happen.
Muniz explained in a recent interview with Fox News while promoting his role in the VH1 revival The surreal life:
“We did seven seasons, 151 episodes. I didn’t really watch the show when it was on, but I’ve seen it with my wife ever since. [watched] all 151 episodes, “Muniz said.” I realized, ‘Wow, that’s what we were doing .’… I can part with being on it and watch it like a fan. I’d like to know what the family is up to. “
“I know that Bryan Cranston is really involved in the idea and he’s going to write the script and get it all rolling. So, there might be something. I’d be down 100 percent.”
Muniz went on to say: “But I don’t know, we’ll see what happens.” It looks like things are in the early stages, so who knows if she’ll get off the ground, but it would be really fun to see the entire cast back together for a revival of some kind. You were a fan of Malcolm in the middle?
