The Pokémon Company recently introduced trainers to a brand new Ghost-type monster called Greavard. I have only known Greavard for a short time, but I already love him! Greavard is a Ghost Dog Pokémon and is simply adorable!
He is a single type and has the Pickup skill to grab the items you will need as you travel through the Paldea region. Are you excited to befriend this new Pokémon? You can play with Greavard when Pokémon Scarlet And Violet Pokémon launch for Nintendo Switch on November 18th.

Normally, Greavard barely moves, resting peacefully underground. He pokes the top of his head off the ground and turns on an eerie glow on the tip of him, then waits for someone to approach. When a person approaches, Greavard leaps off the ground as he utters a ghostly scream that would start most unsuspecting people, even if he doesn’t seem to do it with bad intentions.
Greavard has such a friendly and affectionate personality that paying him even the slightest attention will make him so happy that he will follow Trainers wherever they go. Of all the Pokémon that reside in the Paldea region, it is known that it is particularly easy to make friends.
However, Greavard will slowly and inadvertently absorb the life force of those around him, so it’s best not to overplay it. In addition, he also has powerful jaws that can shatter bones. A single bite of Greavard can be severe, so Trainers are advised to approach with caution.
