Monster High: The Movie it ended up being a pretty big hit for Nickelodeon and Mattel Television. The film was based on the Mattel toy franchise which focused on the teenage children of famous monsters and creatures.

Well, with everyone so happy with the result of the live-action music film, they’ve officially given the green light for a sequel that will start production in January in Vancouver, Canada, and will air on Nickelodeon and stream on Paramount + in 2023.

My children grew up collecting these Monster High dolls. They are full-blown teens now, so I wasn’t sure they would be tuning in to see the first movie. But they did and watched it multiple times. It seems to hit those nostalgic emotions for them.

Monster High: The Movie follows Clawdeen Wolf (My Harris) when he arrives at Monster High with a dark secret. With the help of his friends Draculaura (Nayah Damasen) and Frankie Stein (Chickpeas Balagot), is able to embrace his true monster heart and save the school from total destruction. The film is also the protagonist Walker case, Kyle Selig, Marci T. House, The Scot Ellis Loring, Steve Valentino, Jy Prishkulnik, Lina Lecompte, Justin Derickson, Lilah Fitzgerald And Nasiv Sal.

Todd Holland (Monster High, Firehouse Dog, Malcolm in the middle) will return as director and executive producer. Fred Souliesenior vice president and general manager of Mattel Television; Phil Breman, Vice President of Live Action Development at Mattel; And Adam Bonnet (Descendants, Zombies, Masters of the Universe) they will also return as executive producers. The script for the sequel was written by opaque And Billy Eddy (Teen Beach, invisible sister, electrocuted), with a story of Holland, and the Eddys.

The Monster High The animated series is also on its way and will premiere on Friday, October 28 at 7pm (ET / PT) on Nickelodeon.
