Netflix has released a teaser trailer for the next series of supernatural adventures on ghost hunting Lockwood & Co. It looks like it’s going to be a great show! I love this kind of thing and the best part is that it comes from the director Joe from Cornwall which previously brought us films like Attach the block And The boy who would become king. Tell super funny stories!
In this series, “a girl with extraordinary psychic abilities joins two talented boys in a small ghost hunting agency to fight the many deadly spirits that haunt London.”
The teaser below is a clip from the series that features an encounter two characters have with a malevolent spirit and is quite a swashbuckling adventure scene! The two characters face a ghost and since one is in danger, the other is fighting the ghost with a sword. I love it!
The series is based on the supernatural novels of Jonathan Stroudand Cornwall is the perfect talent to bring these stories to life! Cornish had already talked about the series saying: “[A ghost] it can make you jump or scare you, but in terms of real physical threat, movies sometimes struggle. Suddenly, you are in a new kind of ghost story, where you can arm yourself against a ghost and use skill, intelligence and tactics to outsmart it. “
The series is the protagonist Ruby Stokes like Lucy Carlyle, Cameron Chapman such as Anthony Lockwood, and Ali Hadji-Heshmati like Giorgio Karim. The film is scheduled for release on January 27, 2023.
